STATE of ALASKA RESIDENTIAL ENDORSEMENT
This is a license available through testing on proficient knowledge of home building allowing the contractor to build homes in the State of Alaska.
CGR Certified Graduate Remodeler
This is an exclusive professional designation available through the National Home Builders. The CGR designation indicates that a remodeler has completed the requirements of the CGR professional designation program, including educational credits, prescribed business standards and experience. If your remodeler has earned the CGR designation, you can be assured that he or she also understands the value of continuing education and is ready to do his or her best for you. To maintain the CGR designation, all CGRs must complete a continuing education requirement every three years.
NHBA National Home Builders Association
Organization Devoted to professionalism in the Home Building and Remodeling Industry. Provides code of ethics and continued education to its members.
ROBERT SQUIRES: REMODLERS COUNCIL
This council is devoted to Professionalism for Remodelers. They provide education and Certification through testing

CAPS Certified Aging in Place Specialist
This certification is through the NABA. It includes classes and tests for knowledge of building for HANDICAP compliance.
